The best junior athletes from across Canada will visit picturesque Pike Lake, Saskatchewan for the Craven-Genki Junior Elite Triathlon. This is the second national elite triathlon held in our province. In July of 2010, the province welcomed national junior elite triathletes for the Living Sky Tri.
The Craven-Genki Pike Lake Triathon:
The site for Saskatchewan's 2012 Provincial Age Group Championships and a qualifying site for the 2013 World Age Group Championships
The Craven Genki Pike Lake Triathlon has a long history in the province of Saskatchewan. Operated by the Saskatoon Triathlon Club Incorporated and formally known as the Spin Off Spadina, this event began in 1986 and is the second longest consecutively running triathlon in the province's history. In 2012, the event will celebrate its 27th year.

Pike Lake Provincial Park
Located just twenty minutes from Sask
atoon, Pike Lake is a recreation park characterized by aspen, poplar and Manitoba maple groves; manicured lawns with two picnic areas close to the main beach; desert-like sand dunes a short hike away and a popular outdoor pool with a waterslide.

Entry Fees:
►Junior Elite Entry Fee: $50
►Adult Age Group Participants: $80
►Teams of 2: $140
►Teams of 3: $180

Water temperature is variable during the month of June at Pike Lake. Athletes can expect the need of wet suits. Temperature will be measured on Saturday and again on Sunday morning before the race.

Junior Elite Race:
- Swim 750m, Bike 20km, Run 5km
2nd Race in the Tech Junior National Series. The Junior Elite races are very exciting, attracting athletes from across the country. See the "next generation" of triathletes competing for valuable points and rankings.
Adult Sprint:
- Swim 750m, Bike 20km, Run 5km
A shorter version of the Standard Distance race (fewer laps), this race is open to all age-group athletes. Enjoy a scenic, spectator friendly sprint course.
Adult Standard:
- Swim 1500m, Bike 40km, Run 10km
The Standard Distance race is open to all age-group athletes.
