See Dick Tri for the Cure

See Dick Tri for the Cure is a first of its kind race in Canada. This is the first ever, mens only, introductory triathlon in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (CBCF). The theme for this race is men racing to support the women who support them.

According to the CBCF one in 11 women in Canada are expected to develop breast cancer over their lifetime. It is estimated that annually almost 5400 women and 50 men will die as a result. Over the last decade the incidences of breast cancer have stabilized while now almost two-thirds of women diagnosed in Canada will live through it. 

The Fourth Annual See Dick Tri will be held on Saturday, June, 23, 2012.  This men’s only race is geared towards the beginner triathlete looking to give the sport a chance or those who want to support a good cause and have some fun along the way. The race is non competitive and focuses on a fun, friendly, and safe atmosphere.
