RACE TIME: 9:30am Start, Main Beach, Blackstrap Provincial Park
Transition Area: Aspen opens at 9:00am
DISTANCE:
Grade 1 - 25m swim, 1km bike, 1 km run
Grade 2 - 50m swim, 2km bike, 1km run
Grade 3-4 - 100m swim, 4km bike, 2km run
Grade 5-12 - 150m swim, 6km bike, 3km run
Adults - race with child in grade category
*Adults can race if they are a parent of a participant. Adults will be placed in the same heat as their child and will race the distance specified for that grade.*
*To protect the integrity of the event, the race is not timed. Focus is on completion.*
SWIM: Loop swim. Swim cap required
BIKE: Loop bike. Main Blackstrap Provincial Park Road
RUN: Out and back along east side of lake
RACE PACKAGE PICKUP: Race packages can be picked up at the registration table on race day.
REGISTRATION: All competitors must complete a registration form and sign the waiver. Incomplete forms are not accepted. For insurance purposes you must have STAC race-day license or be a paid-up 2010 STAC member. Dundurn/Hanley students need only to fill out school forms to register.
