2.1 Saskatchewan Parks, Recreation and Culture
Saskatchewan Parks, Recreation and Culture is the Provincial Government department that the Saskatchewan Triathlon Association Corporation is affiliated with. Culture and Recreation works to encourage the participation of all Saskatchewan residents in cultural, recreational and sport activities.
Sask Sport Inc. is a non-profit, non-government organization representing amateur sport in Saskatchewan. The Saskatchewan Triathlon Association Corporation is an active member of Sask Sport Inc.
2.3 Sask Trust for Sport, Culture and Recreation
The Sask Trust for Sport, Culture and Recreation was established in 1974 for the purpose of providing funds to provincial non-profit organizations in the fields of sport, culture and recreation. These funds are provided to support and encourage people involved in these areas. The Trust was established with proceeds from the Saskatchewan Sweepstakes Lottery and has been maintained by proceeds from the Western Canada Lottery, Sask. Division.
2.3.1 Sport Division
2.3.1.1 The purpose of Sask Trust Sport Division is to promote the development of sport by providing financial assistance to regional and provincial sport organizations.
2.4 Administration Centre for Sport, Culture and Recreation:
The Administration Centre was developed to provide provincial recreation, culture and sport organizations with office space, administration, secretarial services, audio visual services and printing services at the lowest possible cost.
Triathlon Canada is a National Sports Organization whose reason for being is the organization and promotion of Triathlon in Canada. The activities of the Association are carried out within the constraints of sound business practices with regard to the ethics required of professional staff and to the spirit in which its volunteers function.
The Saskatchewan Triathlon Association Corporation is an active member of Triathlon Canada.
